and services for:

We would like to introduce you to the unique laboratory services available through the Pathogen Detection Laboratory (PDL) at the University of California, Davis.

Since 1986, PDL has provided over 10,000 virological and serological analyses of non-human primate specimens annually. We provide services to more than 50 clinicians, researchers, and colony managers. Research efforts to develop, validate, and improve diagnostic assays are continuously on-going. PDL routinely offers antibody, antigen, virus, and DNA detection for a number of infectious agents. Our staff welcomes the opportunity to provide consultation and laboratory testing appropriate for your specific situation. Please contact us to discuss testing possibilities. Custom testing to meet your specific needs is available.

PRIMAGAM TESTING FOR TB - December 2011 Update: A new lot of Primagam reagents was received on October 26. The IFNg ELISA Detection Phase of the Assay has been validated. However, we cannot validate the stimulation phase (PPD antigens) until we test blood from a known TB infected monkey. We do not have a time line on finding such a control. For now, we are willing to offer Primagam testing and provide you with the raw data as long as you understand and agree to this limitation. We would be especially interested in testing a highly suspect or known positive sample. Please contact us.
